I am still single and if time will come and fate would permit I would have a family that I can call my own. I was just wondering what do you like your first born child to be would it be a baby girl or baby boy? and why? Well for me baby boy would be great so he would be the next men of the family and take good care of his brothers and sisters. how about you

I have a plan of having 2 boys and two girls. Simply because we are two brothers and one sister. My sister feels that she is missing a sister herself. She couldn't share many things of her life with us which are strickly girlish. So, I don't want my kids to feel such bad feelings. It hardly matter who comes first but the composition should be the same as I have stated. Thank you.

Indeed but we all make a plan in our life. It is upto God that what he does with our life. After all, it is hardly in my hands to release my X chromosome to get a girl or a Y one to get a boy. I would love to do so!

Hahaha! My first born is a girl. And when the time came, you don't think about boy or girl. You just want the baby to be healthy. And that she is. She will be 24 years old this year. And my son has become 22 this month. They are great. But, I guess all parents say that. Take care, have a nice evening!

Thank-you. I am blessed to have them both. Your time will come, my friend. You will have at least 10 children. If you can manage 10 cats, 10 children will be easy. Take care, have a nice evening.

when i do get married and have my very own kids... or whichever comes first... hehe... i will not have any preference on the gender as long as my baby will be born normal and healthy. i think it's every mother's wish to have a normal and healthy child. but actually, if truth be told... i'm praying for twins, one boy and one girl. since i don't know how i would handle pregnancy, i'd rather deliver two babies at the same time than undergo two pregnancies and two deliveries. hehehe i haven't met a woman yet that has told me that delivering a child is easy and that it feels great and comfy. i know motherhood is wonderful... i can handle that. i'm just not sure about giving birth. but when it comes, it comes... i won't have anything better to do but to give it my all and deliver as best i could. hahaha i just wish there are less painful (or painless) ways to give birth as compared to normal and c-section deliveries. if there is, i won't have any problem at all giving birth to as many kids as my husband and i would want. hehehe

Oh my friend there is already a painless way to give birth. You will be injected with that few hours before you actual labor. My mom told me so and she said to my sisters that they can actually have it. So there s no problem in that. I have a twin sisters but both of them are female. Well goo luck on your future my friend I wish you many babies to come.

I wouldn't make any difference to me which child came first. I love kids. Unfortunately, I have not been so lucky as to father any. Things just work out for me in that regard, due to a short lived marriage...and I haven't had the opportunity since to bring that question into the mix, not matter who I've been with to date. I am the last male of my family. No one left now to carry on the name. When I go, that's it. It would have been great to have a son, if just for that one reason. But I guess it was not meant to be. Oh well, such is life. cdrxo

I think i'd like to have a boy as my first born. I want him to grow up as a responsible man and he would help me look after his mother and siblings. I really don't expect much from him as long as he is loving and would put his family on top of his priorities. I don't think i can handle a daughter as a first born because if she happens to be a party girl then i guess i would be having a hard time. lol! So i guess with her older brother around, then i have someone who can watch out for her.

Well your deciding like a real father already my friend. You have a good point but how would you know he would be a good son what if it turns out the other way around like if you have a daughter and is more respossible than your son? It would really depend on the parents on how they brought up there children my friend. Parents has great influence to their children.........

Hi helscream, Like you i am still not married so no family of mine as such yet. I would want two children. First one boy and second one girl. Why because in Indian society a boy has lots and lots of roles to play and it is always god for girls if they have an alder brother who can look after them and in case needed can go and beat couple of guys who are trying to harass the girl and in our society if a girl has an elder brother then it is so much good.

ah the protective brother thing. yeah I like that one too. Well I guess in any country in the world men have a great role in the family. He would somehow make her sister be protected by foolish guys.

My 1st born is a girl. She is an awesome kid! I recently gave birth to a son. I didn't care what order they came as long as they were healthy. And both are. I know female children born 1st are just as capable of caring for their siblings as male kids. Because I am a 1st born girl and did it.

Hi, well, do have your family soon and become a proud father. So far the fist born it hardly matters me. Now I have a son who is 7.1 years old but I wanted him to be a girl baby for now the daughters are more caring of their parents than sons. I do not blame, however, that sons once they have left home for higher education most of them I have noticed settle there itself and have no time to spare for their parents. It is due to work pressure. But daughters some how manage to drop at their parents home as and when get time.

For me a baby girl or baby boy will be just fine.I just hope I'll have a boy and a girl. The baby boy will be the strength of the family while the baby girl will be its pride and joy that will give help to the parents during their old age. So much for wishful thinking.lol!
