How hard to be a single Mom?

this is tough times, and even without the present economic crisis, it's difficult to raise a family... much more so single-handedly. i'm not married yet, but i've known several women who struggled silently as single moms. my sister, for one. as a single parent, one would assume the responsibility of being both the father and mother to the kids, earning an income for the family and keeping house at the same time. sometimes as a mother, she will play strict like a father figure but will also go soft like a mom. it's hard. i believe single mothers are tough women both inside and out. and often, lonely too. nobody to share joys and hardships with, or carry half the responsibilities. single mothers may often go to extremes too by being overly protective of her children... but that's only because her children are her only treasures in life. :)

I am a single mom. Granted my son is only 2 and a half, their are still always issues, and yes it is hard, you have more things to worry about, money and housing so on and so forth. Sometimes life is hard to balance from working to housework, life does get busy, but to say the least I would have it this way instead of the other way. I enjoy my life a lot more now compared to before!!!!!

Well, I'm not a single mom, and I'm not married yet. But, I think it's soo hard to be a single mom. My aunt is one and I could see it was really hard for her financially speaking, not to mention all the stress and emotional sufferings that a single mom could go through. All single moms should be rewarded for their courage and hardships, they deserve it.
