About how much time do I spend for cooking... it's depend on what kind of food I cook, it's very fast if I cook instant food, like instant noodle... but it will take longer if I cook some special recipe... Oh remember... cooking could be the good recreation for a proffesional or businessman...

For me it depends on what is going on that day. I like to try to cook a good meal that might take a while, when I have the time. I sometimes have to resort to frozen meals though (i know those aren't very healthy).

Be it house wife or working professional outside the home. Home cooking is the best cooking. It takes very little time to make augraten potaotes from scratch. And is much better for you than the crap they have inna box.

I do most of my cooking in half an hour. Sometimes, when I have company, I´ll spend about 2 hours (the appetizers take time). When I have a party, I have to start cooking the day before (but I mean making dinner for 40 people or more). When I say 1/2 an hour, I´m talking about my time. For instance, I put all the ingrediends that have to be cooked on the range and either come to the computer or go watch TV. There´s an alarm clock that tells me when to go and see. My little electric stove can be set to stop after some time so I just go pour some liquid over the roast or whatever once during the process. I love to cook anyway, so I don´t mind. And I have learned to do some things sitting (I have chronic lumbar pain).

We are actually eating out less and less. I spend somewhere between 45 minutes and an hour cooking dinner for my family. I put the leftover food into the refridgerator and we eat it later in the week for lunch. Sometimes at dinner if it's been a rough day, we will have left over night where everyone pulls things out of the refrigerator and just eats whatever they want. it's a great way to rid yourself of one or two helpings of something.

Hello neerajpandey_13, I am a working mother. I cook for my family everyday (only dinner during weekdays and the three meals for weekends). I love cooking for my husband and son. Normally, I spend like 1-2 hours for cooking daily. I cook just a few simple dishes for weekdays as when I come home from work, it is almost 6pm everyday. I make sure we have dinner at 8pm. During weekends, I love to experiment new recipes. I cook more dishes for the family and sometimes it takes longer than usual to prepare the food.

I try to keep it to a minimum as much as possible, but I still like home cooked meals. So I use the microwave and take short cuts here and there. About an hour.

Hi neera! You don't always have to spend alot of time cooking for a meal to me delicious and healthy! I have learned over the years to be able to put a great meal together in a very short time! Sometimes I might night have the time to prepare before hand or I might not have taken something out to prepare and I have to think fast! There is always a way to put a meal together if you know how to cook! I have made some incredible quick meals that came out tasting really good! All you have to do is take a look in the refrigerator and the cabinets and know how to mix things up! I can make a meal out of veggies, pasta and whatever meat is around and that is a meal!

Hi neerajpandey_13 ! Well I just had a baby girl 3 months ago and she takes up all of my time when I'm not at work but before I had her I loved to cook. When I do have time it's usually on the weekends when my whole family can get together and we can help each other out. I really think if a family eats together they will be closer than a family who does'nt. Happy MyLotting!

I probably do not give enough time for cooking. I am a student and live on my own, and i have a lot of stuff going so on so i usually don't cook things that take long time to do. And i also like to go out and eat more than i should. I consider it to be something of a curse because it is very expensive and i probably should cook my own food more than i do.

I think I spend about an hour each day cooking. That's just how long it takes. I spend longer if I'm making something more complicated, but then I will make extra and freeze some.

I think I use to spend more time in the kitchen and cooking before my son was born. I never did like spending a lot of time cooking, no more than an hour, but now I'm into 30 min meals. There aren't enough minutes in the day without having to worry about an elaborate meal. I do take more time when we're having people over and I do love to cook for a dinner party, but for everyday meals I like to keep the time in the kitchen down so I can spend more time with my son and husband.

I cook just about everyday. Usually I try to let myself have a day off on like Friday nights and we either go out to eat or order in. How much time everyday I devote to cooking depends on what I am cooking. Sometimes its something easy and can take like 20-30 minutes and other times it may take an hour or so. And then theres the handy crock pot where I can take 10 minutes to throw a bunch of things in and then let it sit all day. Some days I am off track with cooking and I feel like I have to rush, like some days when my kids have football practice or scout meetings, etc. As long as everyone eats I dont really care how long it takes to make a meal :)

i do not have time for cooking because i am too busy at work. and i'm busy taking good care of my one month old son. i just let my mom and wife do the stuff. since my wife is on leave she helps my mom to do some household chores at home. She will be back to work on June. We are currently residing at my parents house so my mother could look after him while we are at work.
