Smoking or Drinking which one is less harmful?

Smoking is harmful to lungs and mouth while Drinking is bad for liver. This is what i know so if you could just tell me which one is more harmful? I need it for my close family friend who smokes and drinks a lot... I need your suggestion so that i can help him out with his health issue

drinking effect's every organ in the human body, smoking doesn't. give up a lung or a liver, it's your choice. i worry more about the crap they put in and on food and veggies than the other. but then again i dont drink, well not for the last 11 years. got a light?
