Why would a rich man Kill himself??

Ok so another Rich CEO of the Freddie Mac empire has decided to end it all by taking his life. I really don't understand why a rich man would commit suicide. A poor man committing suicide is undersatndable because he has no money and well nothing to live for but a rich man who kills himself is a mystery to me. Yes they have problems but isnt the reason why you got rich was to have a comfy life and yet you get rich and still kill yourself... what a waste. I believe that there is no problem in this world that is worth taking your life. Did you know that more people in New York alone die of suicide than murder or accidents or diseases? have people given up to the point where they don't value their lives anymore?? What a sad sad scenario.. really... let me know your thoughts.. is it worth it to kill yourself? My opinion... NO!..what's your opinion?

Apparently he couldn't face the fact that he had screwed up and was possibly going to have to start living the lifestyle the poor folks like us have to endure from day-to-day. He looked like a pretty-boy who has spent his whole life counting money. Maybe he just couldn't face the fact that he might actually have to start working for a living...

I think every man has his right to decide, we should not judge it as we pleases. We should respect his choice, no matter it right or wrong. Rich man has his own bitterness, he has his problems.We often think that a man choose to die is a cowardly act, I think choose to die, as a matter of fact, is kind of brave. Now, what I want to say is, may God with him.

I guess he just took low road. What a loser. Type of person that would snitch or run from a fight. Wonder how he likes hell.

Oh I can bet you he's regretting killing himself.. Why dont people realise that killing yourself is just a VIP pass to hell? and trust me from what I have heard, Hell is a disgusting and horrible place.. not made for humans but some still decide to go there.. you're right there.. he is a loser... and he had loads of people he could talk to.. his wife, friends (he's rich so i assume he has friends) If he didnt have friends at least he can afford a psychiartrist... so no excuses there..

Because these people half of their life to get to that position and after that they start worrying how to maintain it in a stable manner. All the mental stress and tensions automatically cause ideas like this.

Money can't buy happiness. We have heard it since we were just children and we should know that it is 100% true. Just because a person has all the money they will ever need doesn't mean they have no problems in life. In fact when people have money they tend to spend well above their means and are actually in debt way over their heads.

i think it's not worth kill myself, i have many things to do. not only for money just for many things. i must working for myself and i am not so rich. just feed myself.many men are look down me for me not have many money,so i must earn more money let others don't look down me.

To be honest, I dont understand why they always choose this way, and of course it's not wise especially for a successful businessman. In my opinion, this kind of successful man have been always facing very very huge pressure, they dont live as happy as we do, so it's not weird that we dont understand what are they going to do....

Maybe he signed some documents to show his approval for doing illegal things.
His designation in the company means that he had a lot of power to authorise any changes to the accounting books.
Maybe he knew that the auditors are very close to discovering all the bad things he had done. There might be some cover-up in the company that he knew about or he approved of.
Getting rich is good, provided that the method is correct. If use illegal means to get rich, sooner or later the law will catch up.

Yes there are lots of reasons why rich man can take his own life.Incident like this happened sometime ago when a Chinese top toy manufacturer got his products returned from USA.It was discovered that the products contained toxic element that is harmful to children.This rich man was highly dis-appointed that he took his own life as his last option.Another incident is the recent global economic recession that hit almost
the entire business men.A German billionaire business man took his own life after loosing several billions of dollar.In conclusion,rich men are easily upset by sudden
unexpected financial or business breakdown and only few of them can manage it.

Well,i know there must be many ppl thoughts:we can have anything we want if we have enough money.yes,i confession that's right.So everybody envy the rich man.But do you ever think are rich men is happiness?are they healthy?Maybe he lost his healthy or family or ect during he enjoy his life to make more money.We can't deny that the rich man never offord anything,just like we can't deny a poor man hasn't a happiness life.

hey, most rich men's empires are built from monster loans. ive read of one rich businessman's biography, that's why i knew this. however, taking one's life is really not a way out, you're only going to leave the problems you have to the ones ou leave behind. and besides, your lifeis not your own to take.

I can understand what he did ,
why ? money is not everything ,though money is very important to us ,if the money can not bring us happiness,how can the money do ?
I think someone has a good ability to earn enough money but they are short of ability to hold a happy family and to arrange a happy life ,they become the money's servant.and when thay felt tired,they'll like to go the extreme way.

In my opinion, the CEO killed himself because of stress. May be he get depressed for losing a lot money in financial market or may be he had made a decision that caused his company to lost. Probably he feel shame or depressed because of that.
