What a waste of time!

I have had issues with satellite and internet before, but not like you had. Our problem was basically trees growing out and getting in the way. Glad you kept your Charter huh?

I think everyone has. What I hate is when you call the cable place for a repair and they say it will be a week before they get there but when it is time to pay the bill they want that on or before time. How about when you call to schedule them to come out and do something and they say they will be out between eight and twelve or one and five. I mean really can't we narrow it down a little more.

Sorry to hear that, AT&T does have a few problems and yes it is good you didn't get it cut off yet, You would have one grumpy girl wanting to watch her cartoons and maybe a hubby wanting to watch the news,I sincerely hope that it is fixed sometime today for sure..I have not really had this problem yet.

I tried installing DSL --what a disaster. After weeks of absolutely awful service and excuses from AT&T...they finally admitted - the loop link was too long and there was nothing wrong with my computer. Cable is way better

That is terrible. I have lovely dialup. I thought about getting Hughesnet for faster speed but my neighbor has it and he said it is not any faster and he still cannot download alot of things quickly or at all alot of times.

We move a lot so we have to have the internet hooked up each time. I've waited 5 hours before and had grumpy techs and I've arrived at it was all done at other times. I guess you have to take the good with the bad, some of those guys get paid by the installation so they don't care how long it takes.
