Prayer for me is the best thing that strengthens my faith to God. I believe that when you stop praying, God stop working. My best time to pray is morning when i woke up and evening before i go to sleep with devotional time for the Creator... I pray all the time wherever i may go and whatever i do. It's my kind of worship to HIM that I must do my best in everything..Prayer helps a lot... How about you?

I always pray every now and then not just for myself but for my parents and younger siblings. I make it a point to attend mass every Sunday and pray because it is one way of communicating with God and have a personal union with him. I always believe in the power of prayers that whatever you are asking for will be given in His time, it may not be exactly what we are asking for, but at least we know that God knows what's best for us.

Your right.....prayer is certainly one strong instrument.....but to be hones I cant find much time in a day.......I pray for few minutes in the morning when I leave for for college and then we have family prayers in the evening.....I cant pray for long though.....I also feel that prayer makes you really strong as a person.....it helps you in resisting temptations at times when they arise.......I also feel that more than just exchange or words, it is a personal communication with god....just like we speak to our friends, we don't need to think what we need to speak it is just spontaneous......

Thanks John. Yes we need to pray personally. God is a personal God, He can be our Father, Brother, Friend, Best friend or whatever we call Him personally in our prayers. God bless

I too pray each day. You are correct in that it strengthens your faith, at least it does for me. But, I have to tell you that there have been times when my prayer life hasn't been what it should be and I can still look back and see where God was working in my life. I can only imagine what he would have done had I really been praying!

Yes your right, sometimes we need to look back and see where God was working in our life. If God doesn't answer yet my prayers i know He has a better plan. Also He wants me to realize what really He wants me to learn. I just keep in my mind that if God doesn't answer my prayer yet, i consider it a delay and great things are yet to come.. Thanks for the response.. God bless

What a very important question? I have been missing my prayer life when I have no work and family yet. It was so wonderful to really soak in His presence through prayer.Mine is something that I have been working out. I want to get back on the old days where I could concentrate in praying. Morning and night are most of the times that I had for prayers, too. I still have a prayer time everyday but not the length of time I can avail is very different now. It becomes short now.Without a prayer, I cannot go out of the house. It is really a source of my strength and joy.
