Is the PT Cruiser a marmite car??

We have recently purchased a PT cruiser, it was second hand and with lots of chrome!! It's awesome although most people love it or hate it with no in between!!
My husband was driving it today when someone going the other way in a PT cruiser waved at him. Their car was also chromed and had flames down the side. Is there a special PT cruiser wave?? Or is it just because ours was "Blinged up"??
What are your thoughts on the PT Cruiser?? Love it or hate it??

My sister really wants a PT cruiser, I can't really tell ya why. I think they're kind of funny looking. Very "modern". Where I live - all of the yuppies have PT cruisers or Scions or other cars that look similar, but to me, they just look kind of funny. I guess there's a "secret society" of PT cruiser-drivers that I didn't know about.
