hey peeps... it's a saturday mornin' here and i have the curtain drawn. it's bright and sunny outside, not lookin' forward to bein' out in the heat though. anyhoos...my bedroom wall colour is orange and with the curtain drawn, it always make me feel lazy to get out of bed, for some reason. like the whole lighting of the bedroom in the daytime just makes me feel to NOT wanna get out of bed and cotinue lazyin' around. i really feel it's coz of my wall colour. just makes it cosy...or is it just me bein' lazy... any thoughts??

Two of my walls are calico and two mauve in colour, as I lie in my bed of a morning, a small shaft of sunlight penetrates the heavy curtains, illuminating the room. From the 4 posts that rise from my bed towards the ceiling hang light, translucent drapes that soften the colour and light giving a very peaceful and soporific atmosphere. all the best urban

My walls in my room actually getting painted as I speak! They used to be dark green, which sounds pretty, but is actually really depressing to wake up to. I'm finally painting them white after about 2 years of having them kelly green. I think a lighter color would probably make me more motivated to start my day.

haha..and i take it that someone else is doin' the paintin' for you?? :) i can't deal havin' white walls. not a fan of white...i would paint my walls black if mum allowed. she had issues with the orange when we first moved into this place but the colour gives it such a cosy feelin'. even when it's bright and sunny outside, when the curtains are drawn, it feels like the time when the sun is settin' or risin'. but i get you point...motivation to start the day....no wonder i have trouble wakin' up for work!! hehe hope the new wall colour works for you!! stay paint free!!
