Do you use headphone while watching movies?

Let me be more specific! Whenever I am watching any English movie my mother used to shout at me and tell me to use head-phones while watching because during some scenes volume increases drastically and it irritates a lot?
And while watching English movie I have to keep the volume to a little higher volume to listen all the words clearly.
While watching movies in our local languages she tells me to use speaker so that at least she can listen if not able to watch the movie.
What about you?

Well I usually watch movies at home on the television. During the time I do not use the headphones and keep the remote control close by to control the volume. Just in case the volume increases at times.
But there are times when I watch the movie on the PC. During this time I watch the movie with the headphone on. I dont know why but I need the headphones on during this viewing.

Well while watching TV we always want remote in our hands otherwise someone else might change channel.
While watching movie on PC we don't have any remote and whenever sound increases we have to hear someone shouting at us "lower the volume".
And so we prefer to watch movies on Computer using Headphone.

I always use headphones, if I am watching the movie alone but if I have company then I can't use three headphones, so I hae to turn on speakers. At times my sister scoldes me when the volume increases suddenly.
but for hindi my mum as well as my sister gives me company so I have to use speakers.

Well it is true.
We can't afford many headphones.
Same goes here I can't watch Hindi movie alone even if everyone is busy they will tell me use headphones.
So that they can at least listen.

Well i usually watch movies at night so just to keep it silent, especially when all the people at home are sleeping, i guess i really should use a pair of headphones. I think it has a double purpose. To keep the surroundings quiet and at the same time be able to listen the movie's dialogue very well. Listening using headphones kind of gives me the feelings that i'm inside the movie because of the quality of sound and it kind of sets the atmosphere.

It has better clarity and are really very useful at night when others are sleeping

Hello rakesh284 , I only use a headphone while riding in a car on a long trip and someone else is driving. I keep extra headphones and splitters availabe in case anyone else wants to listen and watch what movie I may be watching. At home I don't use a headphone.

Yah. I use headphones when I watch movies. For the reason so that I can hear it correctly. Hehehe. I love my skullcandy headphones.

Yes it happens sometimes that we might prefer to use headphones just to make a good feel of movie.
Because speakers can be disturbing at some time.
