Do you suffer from sinus problems?

I never had bad sinus problems until I quit smoking over a year ago. Now It's hard for me to focus and my visions gets blurred sometimes because of the pain and pressure around my eyes and face. I have tried a neti pot,essential oils,humidifiers natural, over the counter & prescription medications. I'd like to know what some of the mylot members here do when they have sinus problems. Maybe there is something new I haven't heard of yet that I can try to help relieve some of this sinus pressure.Thanks

I was at the doctor's office 2 weeks ago for my sinuses, he placed me on antibiotics for two weeks, it worked pretty much but I still have pressure. I'm currently taking prescription Sudafed and mucnix and 800 MG of prescription Ibuprofen for pain & + doing my neti treatment.Maybe I should try Sinutab.I think the problem is that it's been so super dry and windy lately that it's just making my sinuses dry and my head is has congestion mostly due to the dry windy weather.

NOpe, not for me.. BUt my brother suffers from sinus too.. I dun see him havin much problems with it, and it only happens in the mornings when he just woke up.. Other than that, his nose is prefectly normal.. I wonder if there's anything that had got to do with his asthma when he was a kid.. hehe ^_^
As for cures, unless one see a doctor about it, i dun think there's any ways to cure it totally.. For, it's quite common for most ple to get sinus problem, and it can start any time..

You are lucky Kun, Sinus problems are terrible! I never use to have a problem with them either once. Boy how things have changed! Yes, if your brother has allergies or asthma it could be connected . I've had allergies since I was 16 . I visit my doctor when my sinus problem becomes too much. Antibotics and prescription Sudafed is given'to me when my sinuses become infected. Sudafed works great but I don't like to take it all the time because I don't want to because a pseudo ephedrine addict.I prefer natural remedies more.Thanks for commenting and take care!

I suffer from allergies that can make my nose run, my eyes water and make me wheeze to breathe. I can get sinus problems especially just after I have had a cold. I try essential oils and inhaling under a towel over boiling water in a bowl with that in it. I haven't found the best way to sort sinus problems but like to stick to natural ways. Good luck.
