What is the white fuzzy stuff blowing off the trees making my allergies bad

Some white fuzzy stuff has been blowing off the trees for the past week. This is making me so sick. I am so allergic to what ever it is. Do you know what the white fuzzy stuff is???

Their called Cottonwood Trees. I'm allergic to them too.

It's the seeds, if you catch on and look at it closely you will see the seeds, pollen is also flying. I am having a very bad problem and trying to stay inside as much as possible.

because it is an allergen, the stuff that allergies come from, the pollen in from the flowers

are they cottonwoods? that was the only tree I responded to on the "stick" test at the first allergist's office

That might be it. I am not sure because its a tree thats around my job and everytime I go out its blowing all over the place.

is the tree near a water source? they are thirsty trees I'm not saying its the only tree that does that, but the only one I know of

depends on what type of tree its definately some sort of pollen Claritin works great on spring allergies
