recovering data

Hi My dvd got scratched by one of my neighbour's pet and now it isn't working ..Is there any way to repair it?

I think data can be recovered from harddisks!! But not sure about How to do it using DVD's. For dual layer dvd's it is very hard!! think so!!

I am sorry to tell that there is absolutely no way to recover data from a broken disk..May be you will be able to recover files of very low size!!
