what is a referral?

Hi orang13 and welcome to myLot! A referral is a person who joins a site under you and using your personal 'referral link' to do so. Your 'downline' is the collective name given to all your referrals. Your 'upline' is the person above you and whose referral link you used to join. Almost all money-making sites provide you with a referral link which you use when promoting the site and suggesting to others that they join to. They use your link and you usually have some sort of benefit from them - referral earnings - after they join. These are usually a percentage of their own earnings on top of what they earn for themselves and are added to your own personal earnings. In the case of myLot you can find your referral link in your 'earnings' page under the tab 'referrals'. You can give it to friends and they can use it to join under you. You will then, if they are active, earn 25% of any earnings they have on top of both yours and theirs. Hope this helps and happy Lotting!

Okay, it is a kind of parent child relations with only one difference that there is no generation gap. Now, at mylot, if you visit your earnings page, you can get your referral link but I can you give you your ref link here: http://www.mylot.com/?ref=orang13 if any person in this world uses this link to join under you then s/he will be your referral and you will get a benefit from mylot that 25% of his/her earning will be going in to your pocket. No, it isn't that his 25% income will come to you but it will be given by mylot to you because you introduced him to mylot. Understood?
