UGH! My sister so totally drives me batty. There's this guy in her life... And he's a total horses pattoot. He is the most obnoxious person I have ever met and he has actually told us that it's because he's from Boston or Brooklyn or something - I don't remember what he said, it was a long time ago and I don't really listen to him anyways. Five years ago when my father passed away it took everything I had to not punch him in the mouth. The day my father died, everyone but my oldest brother was gathered at my mothers house - even my step-sister, who my father was the only father she knew. Well, this guy comes into the house and just about the first words out of his mouth are criticisms about these pictures that my sister took! No "Hey sorry about your Dad" but "Geeze, can you believe your sister wasted my film on these crappy pictures?" And he KNEW about my father. Yesterday he shows up at my mothers again - we were there because my mothers boyfriend passed away over the weekend. Now, this time the guy went over to my mother and hugged her and said "Hey, I'm really sorry about all this" and he WAY over did it. But the next words out of his mouth are an argument with my sister about his friggin mustache!!! Aparently he didn't believe her when she said he missesd a spot dyeing it. I'm so glad I was done eating because I totally lost my apetite when he showed up. I don't know why my sister puts up with this idiot (oh, except aparently he's good in bed). And what's even worse is that her current boyfriend doesn't "allow" her to see this guy. Well, we're all with her boyfriend on this matter. I just hope this guy doesn't show up at the veiwing or funeral because it's just way too much tension for me. I know everyone's got a close relative that has a total idiot in their lives, but isn't it just the hardest thing to deal with sometimes???

So let's get this straight, your sister has a boy friend, and then has this guy as well? She likes him cause he is good in bed?! Can you pay the boyfriend to do away with him permanently? He is so totally inappropriate, it seems like even a total stranger would gladly do it. If he shows up at the viewing I would try to send him on an errand, like a long walk off a short pier. Your family does not need this doofus.

UGH, it's such a mess! She's known this one guy for YEARS, they were dating about 12 years or so ago and he'd treat her like crap enough to make her mad and she'd stay away from him for a while. Then he'd turn up again. My father couldn't stand the guy either - NONE of my family can! I was totally blown away when he showed up yesterday. I would have much rather her (recent) boyfriend did! At my cousin's wedding... There was a pool... And this idiot was standing right on the edge of it... And the dance floor was like right there... And you had to walk kind of over that way to get to the bar... OH! It took every ounce of reserve I had to not just go "OOOPPPSSS!!! Didn't mean to bump you while you were standing beside the pool there..." And my aunt was eggin' me on! She was like "Do it! Do It!"

I wish you had, and that I had been there to see it. Makes me think of the movie "It's a Wonderful Life"
