Do you like Susan Boyle's makeover?

I don't understand why some fans of hers don't like her new look. I like her voice and eventhough I'm not an avid fan I think she looks gorgeous now! What kind of woman would not want a makeover if she's a celebrity already? It's like Simon Cowell - a big celebrity who never pays attention to his shirt that shows his sticking nipples. lol I mean who would want that? And women should always trim their brows or they are no different from men's brows. I mean come on...give Susan a break! But what do you think?

Now that they have given her a makeover, she not only sounds good but is a bit easier on the eyes too, now that they have cut and dyed her gray-streaked frizzy hair and shaped her brows. I like the way she looks now--more polished and stylish. But what the heck, changing her looks does not change the fact that she has a really beautiful voice.

I have seen a picture of her before and after and would have to say that she does look different. Honestly I don't think that it really matters what she looks like to begin with and people should not worry about that in the least. In any case, when it comes to brows, I used to do mine and sometimes I still want to, but I don't waste the money it takes to drive to a place to get them waxed, plus the price of waxing.

That's true. She does look different now. I still do my brows patiently when I get a chance cause getting them waxed is a bit pricey for me and ...it hurts. lol

I think her new look is fabulous, still very natural but not dowdy. If I became world famous overnight I would certainly have a makeover! Not that I expect that to happen anytime soon.....

I think her new look is nice. It is not over the top and it is suited to her age. I am glad they did not overdo it, and I think she looks so much better with plucked eyebrows. Good luck to her.

I know! I'm also glad that they did not overdo it. It does suit her age. Thanks for your response.

I'll get in trouble for this but I don't care! I didn't think Susan Boyle looked attractive before the make-over and still doesn't! I think she looks homely and very old for her age! No wonder she's never been married! I'm done! I had to say it!

LOL well you are entitled to your opinion so it's okay! Susan is not a physically attractive woman but for her age I like the makeover. Thanks for your honest response.

Lots of women don't trim/pluck their brows and they don't appear like mens. I'm not super fond of the make over, as her appearance before is part of what actually got people's attention towards her.. they saw something they laughed at that proved them wrong. But tis her life, and if she's comfortable and happy that way and it helps her find the success she seeks.. then go Susan!

I was told at this beauty salon long time ago that women should trim or pluck their brows regularly but you know what you're right! There are indeed lots of women who don't trim or pluck their brows and still don't appear like men's. Sorry about that. Anyways I think they did a good job on Susan's makeover. I would feel bad if they forced her into it but I think she enjoys her new look too.
