Do you add your WORK friends/colleagues as friends on FACEBOOK?

I was wondering if there is anyone else who has added some of their work friends/colleagues to their Facebook friends list? I have, but only those who i consider more of a friend than a colleague. I would never add my boss just in case i said something incriminating on there or a friend posted something negative about my job/work on there. You have to be careful because people have gotten fired over stuff written on Facebook that their bosses have seen!

I have added a few of my close work friends as friends on Facebook. These are work friends that are similar in age and interests as me. However, I have had work colleagues add me as a friend on Facebook--those that I don't know as well or are way older than I am or are in a higher position than me--and I felt very uncomfortable. The reason that I was uncomfortable is because I've been on Facebook since college, and there are some very incriminating pictures of me, in my opinion (for example, my friends and I getting drunk!). :) To combat this, though, instead of ignoring my co-workers' friend requests, I have given them a limited view of my profile--they can't see any pictures whatsoever! I also, I have changed my settings so that nothing I post on other people's walls are reported in the "news" section and no one posts anything appropriate on my wall. So I think I am safe (fingers crossed). :)

actually it's not even the people i work with that i'm worried about, most of them feel the same way i do about my job. it's my extended family and more religious friends that i worry about. i definitely have had to censor a lot of my statuses and posts because of that but it's no big deal to make sure that my friends and family that worry about those words because i would rather them not think i'm some kind of crazy, foul-mouthed loser.

I have added friends from work to my facebook in the past. I definitely sensor who I add though. Facebook really is a tell all and if I know I post things I wouldn't want them to see, then I wouldn't add them. Luckily I really haven't run into this problem at all. I only have a few friends at work that I really talk to outside of work and they either don't have facebook or I've already added them. I have friends from previous jobs on my facebook. I'm glad I added them because now it's the only way we are really able to keep in touch, on a regular basis.

I add everybody I am related to, to facebook. Just as long as I am sure, I met the somewhere, and not just somebody, I thought I knew. When it comes to privacy, I can always choose who I want to share my photos with.

I have a lot of my colleagues from work as friends on facebook. Facebook is used often where I work. We actually use facebook chat as our office chat. Many people were added in order to use the chat function at work.

I am unemployed, but when my husband was at work, he didn't have his co-workers on his Facebook page, but once he retired and moved to Canada, we both kept in touch with a few of them that we had befriended, during the time that he worked in the office.
