My friend's best friend just tried to kill herself. She drank the bathroom cleaner. Her mouth was burnt.(ouch!) Thank goodness her sister saw her and they immediately bring her to the hospital. Why did she tried to commit suicide? Because of his boyfriend. This girl just want to prove this guy that she really loves him and she need him so much. I guess, she felt that the guy's feelings for her has gone. My friend told me that this guy has another girl whom he loves but her bff(bestfriends forever) just can't let him go. Well, when I hear that story...I just can't believe it. First and foremost why will I sacrifice myself for nothing. Maybe it really hurts but I know someday it will also be healed. So maybe I will just let him go eventhough it's really hard. You? What will you do?

Have you approached her? I think you should be there for her in times like this. You're one of the people who can help her get over it. But I think pining over lost love is stupid. She can divert her attention to other things like hobbies and such just to forget about her ex-boyfriend. Wasting her life over pointless things is pathetic, and I think she should feel bad about that. There are 3 billion men in the world, and she won't be running out just yet! Help her by giving her a call and talking like you used to. That will help her heal. Give her a smile. Everything will be alright.

That's why I can't understand her. There are many guys but she's willing to waste her life just for that unworthy guy. Her parents are on her side now. I guess it'll be okay already.

So sorry to hear this about your friends. I can't imagine feeling that I needed to kill myself to prove my love for someone. She needs to realize that this guy is not worth her life. I hope that she doesn't suffer any internal damage from the cleaner as those aren't to be ingested. My great aunt accidentally drank some draino once and suffered severe injuries from it with her throat and stomach and those lasted a life time.

Yeah but don't worry the doctor said that there's no internal damage(thank goodness). I hope that she can realize that.

I'm so sorry to hear that but I'm truly disappointed how her life evolved in a just limited axis. Well, who are we to blame, it all depends on the person anyway. I wish her all the luck and may she finds happiness back in life.

I do feel sorry for your friend; I think that when she recovers she will need counselling. It is sad when any one attempts to take his or her life but it is even more sad when it is a young person and it's over a relationship. I would imagine that she will need help accepting that her boyfriend has moved on with someone else. I hope that her family will keep a close eye on her and organise some professional help.

I don't understand these situations! Why kill yourself over a guy? I love my hubby but if he left me I would not try to kill myself. She needs to understand it is possible to move on. Yes it will hurt but in time the pain will get better. She should love herself more then this. The beat thing she can do is let him go and work on herself. Killing yourself should not be an option! Their is always and alternative!

Yeah same here I just can't understand her. Awhile ago my friend told me that her sister told her that "you can't understand her because you never experienced to have a true love." I commented on it of course I said to my friend "You should tell your sister that eventhough you never experienced it, you will never do such stupid thing because you're the one who will suffer from it & you will just hurt yourself." And my friend agreed with me haist....hehehe

Life is a gift that god has given you. Ask those the value of life who don't have it. Don't waste it for anybody. There is a particular age when these things really matter in your life but just after a few years you will actually forget everything and then you would regret what you did. So give it some time. Time heals everything.
