My favourite hobby is swimming and surfing in the ocean, it doesn't costs me at all, well, some money for the sunblock lotion, surfboard and bathing suit :-p but it is not like I will need spend big money on it everytime I do it. And I like playing poker, it does cost me some becau seI need to invest the money to win and of course it is a high rish that I need to take. The other thing is eating, what I mean is going to some nice, specialized restaurant to try international food, it costs me money to do it of course but it is worth it :- ) If I was rich, I would spend part of it on getting a boat, jet ski all that fun stuff that I can use on the ocean becaus eI LOVE the ocean! However, it is a very very expensive hobby that not everyoine could afford... Do you have any hobbies that cost you lots of money?

I've started to scrapbook a lot more lately and in my mind it shouldn't cost me a lot but in all actuality it can get extremely expensive. A lot of the nicer papers are about $1 and then stickers for a page are going to start costing you at least $5 for one set, more depending on how much gets done. I think right now I have about 5-6 pages completely and in total so far I've probably spend about $50 on the entire project. Its not as expensive as some hobbies - but for just making a book full of pictures and memories - it's more on the expensive side. Especially for a college student (lol)

Honey you are spending WAY to much on scrapbooking! I am an avid scrapbooker and never have I spent 50 on 6 pages! Here are some things to do. Buy on clearance!!! JoAnn fabrics has stuff on sale all the time. I was there the other day and got all kinds of pages from 10 cents to 25 cents. Target has scrapbook stuff in there dollar isle. Paper, stickers, emblishments! Buy books of paper instead of single paper that will save you a lot! For instance you can buy a book of 180 pages for 19.99 at JoAnn fabrics, Wal Mart, Michaels, Target which makes the paper about 11 cents each! I bought a book for 180 pages at JoAnn fabrics and it was on sale for 9.99 which made the pages about 5 cents each! Then I did a swap with a friend for some of the repeat pages and the few I didn't like! Check out the scrapbook interest here and you will see we always give each other tips on how to save money when scrapbooking!

Hello mermaidivy!!! Well my hobby is the music, singing. For singing, I want to take some vocal classes which is a expensive thing. So If I add this cost to my hobby, then my hobby becomes very expensive. But I have managed myself with the free sources of the internet and some home learning CD's. And my another hobby is playing guitar which I have and so, doesn't really bear a cost. I really want to be musician and learn to play piano or keyboard. This is what the costy thing is and that I am being not able to manage for myself. This is the expensive instrument and costs more than 150$. I have make up my mind, that I will work on mylot, enough to arrange some money for buying an electric piano. Moreover, then again I will have to spend extra money for taking classes to learn this instrument. That's why I have to say my hobby is expensive unless I have the electric piano.... Well also there are other hobbies, but the special one is already described above. Keep mylotting...Happy posting....

I have a few hobbies. Scrapbooking, Reading, and Going to the beach. Scrapbooking can get expensive. I keep the cost down by only buying when I find the stuff on sale and reusing alot of things. I only get the pictures printed when I have a coupon for 10 cent prints which REALLY helps the cost. I actually found scrapbooks for $3.00 last year and bought one of each of the ones they had. Which saved me a lot of money considering they are at the cheapest $9.99 each. Reading doesn't cost me a lot because I buy most of my books used or in the bargin bin. I also trade with friends - we have a book trading party every 6 months or so. It's a lot of fun. Going to the beach doesn't cost a lot. Just the gas to get there and the sunblock. I always pack lunch which we would have ate at home so I don't count that as a cost. The toys I bring for my daughter were a one time expence and not that much either.

My first and most active hobby is the kids and my husband and they are pretty expensive sometimes...lol. Other than that I like to take pictures. It can be expensive depending on what I do with them after I take them, how many to print, what sizes, frames, etc. I dont really have alot of time for too many hobbies. I have 4 kids and they keep my pretty busy for the most part so I combine them with the picture hobby and I get alot done. :) I like going out to the beach too. Its not that expensive but I can spend some money on it occasionally. I buy buckets and new towels, flip flops for all of us and sand toys, etc. I started my daughter (5) in scrap booking and she enjoys it but it does get kind of pricey. Nice paper, stickers, punches, stamps, glue, pictures, shiny this and sparkly that..... But she will have them for a while and she has pictures of her with family and friends and doing things she enjoys and she likes to look back thru them. My middle son is 7 and he is in Cub Scouts and part of his badge requirements was scrapbooking so we are making him one as well. He is putting all is scout stuff in it and pictures and things he finds while camping or whatever.

My hobbies are dancing, eating, shopping, and reading books.dancing isn't really an expensive hobby.but I would like to learn pole dancing and hip hop.it'll require me to spend money for lessons.I love eating and of course I have to spend for food.it's a given that shopping requires shelling out money.it is my most costly hobby.with reading books,I can borrow from friends or buy secondhand ones.if i have a lot of money,I'll include traveling as my hobby.

YES! I love to snowmobile, and not only is my snowmobile extremely expensive to maintain, but buying gas and paying for hotel stays and food is wildly expensive, too. (But it's so fun!) it's worth it to me, but other people might not understand it.
