Many says to make a difference either to be very nice and sweet or very hardworking or very beautiful. I just prefer to be myself and stand firmly to my personality. So do you make a difference to other around you and how?

Making a difference to others for me means touching someone's life. Being true to yourself, not pretending to be what you are not, and finding your strengths and using them to benefit others (family, friends, work peers, community) would be a way to make a difference. Equally important too is to not to compromise your values just to get something (like wealth, recognition, power).
