I got one and its quite new, well its been 2 years I bought that and I can play DVD still in it. But I prefer to watch movies from my laptop which I think is better in a way, you can move it whereever you want and its cool. Do you have a DVD player of your own?

hi, i have a DVD player, actually,i seldom use it except new year(our family stayed together to watch it often during new year),because we should borrow or bought DVD form the DVD shop.it is inconvenient, so i prefer to watch DVD on the cumpter more than on DVD player.

It's interesting. Just about everyone who replied said they seldom use their dvd player. I guess computers are just more interesting and convenient. I wonder if this (people not using dvd players) is common or just common among those of us who use the computer so much, because I think people who post in mylot and who answered are most likely people who are online a lot. It would be interesting to take a survey or something and see how many people use the computer more than the dvd player.

Watching a DVD with family is really something great to do and I remember the last time I was sitting with my family is maybe last year or even before that, they don't have enough time to sit infront of the TV to watch a DVD.

I too have a dvd player. It was a gift. However, I hardly ever use it. Like you, I prefer to watch movies on the computer. The screen is bigger and nicer and its convenient, even though its a desktop and not a laptop. I am also closer to the screen with the computer and I prefer that for some reason. I feel a little bad sometimes, if the person who gave me the dvd player knew how seldom I use it, they might feel bad. I still appreciate them giving it to me though

Yes, I have a DVD player. But actually I don't often watch it. I spend more time using computer. Usually I will use my computer to make my son's photo album and video album. Then I play them from our DVD player so that everybody can watch it. I love China

I find DVDs more easy to spent time with, I have a collection of Horror movies at home and they are my favorite which I think is one of my best compagnon.

Hey thats really cool, I use to watch DVD on my laptop as I don't like going in the dining room or kitchen to watch a DVD, maybe later on I will buy a good one.

yes, I have a DVD player of my own. It's in my own bedroom, bought it last year, it's a Samsung brand. I love it because it can play all disc with great sound effects! I even bought a component cable, the one that has 3 wires for the video alone, so which means that the picture that comes out from my flat tv is truly astonishing. It's richer and vivid in color compared to an ordinary video cable. I really loved it...

The first time my dad bought a DVD it was for my brother and I was quite jealous, my mom said just because he is older than me and he understand all these better, But now I have one.
