Niagara Falls, Canada is a truly amazing thing to see. i am fortunate that i only live an hour away from there so i can see it any time i wish. Brad Pitt and his kids were seen there just last weekend (Anjolina is filming a movie in New York state - which just on the other side of the Niagara River). Even Marilyn Monroe made a movie in Niagara Falls in 1953 http://www.marilynmonroe.com/about/movies/niagara.html Come Visit Us!!

Hi Cher, It is just so funny that I saw this discussion today. Last night I was talking to my husband about getting away for our anniversary this august. We usually go to the same place every year and it is nice, but I grew up in that area, so I suggested that we go to Niagara Falls. We have never been there, I have wanted to go there for years and it really is not that far for us to go. We haven't made a final decision but it is at the top of our list. I found this website to check it out and it really shows the beauty of the falls as well as things to do there. I was surprised at some of the attractions that are held there and the butterfly and bird sanctuaries. It sounds like a great place to visit and sight see. Hope you do not mind me posting the link. http://www.niagarafallstourism.com/

I went to niagara falls just once as it is far from me I am in montreal, quebec, but it was gorgeous, I have never seen anything as beautiful as niagara falls, but I found the town to be very expensive. Matt my boyfriend said he went to niagara on the lake and he loved it.

I miss the Falls...born in St.Kitts, grew up in Niagara...Maple Leaf Village and the Hill were my stomping grounds when I was living there (I also lived in Toronto, Hamilton, Sarnia and Oshawa over the yrs..)..LOL I was SO TICKED that they closed it down for the casino I have NEVER been to the Casino and have no desire to go....MLV ROCKED....I have so many awesome memories there..and of course you have Duff. Islands which was fun...the gorge too...Naturally anyone who has never been and gets a chance MUST see the falls..hell I grew up there and I STILL love going to the actual falls

A few years back, my mother wanted to go to Niagara Falls with my sister and me, for her birthday. We went to the Canadian side, being Canadian ourselves. That was what she wanted to do, and that's what we did. It was a really great trip. It's a really beautiful city. I hope to maybe go back at some point, in my life. I enjoyed the trip that I made to Niagara Falls with my mother and sister.

I like niagara falls so much. It was the second time last year I was there. And it was in winter, it's nice the snow and falls. I had taken such beautiful pictures there. ANd also the region is very nice, Niagara on the lake is a little town where you could stay for the rest of your life.

We drove to Prince Edward Island from Manitoba, but we did not stop at Niagara. We went through Ottawa. And I did see the movie Niagara. That was one of my favorite movies starring Marilyn Monroe. Oh and we did not spend our honeymoon at Niagara Falls. We went to Vancouver Island. But I heard so much about Niagara Falls that I would not mind going there. However my husband is not that well, so I guess I will have to pass.

Hey cher! You are absolutely right! It is amazing! I have been there many times and it is so beautiful! I have climbed the area around the falls on the Canadian side and the New York side and gotten really wet too! I just love it there! I have seen it in the daytime and at night from both sides and it is the most incredible site ever! I have been to Canada about six times and have visited different parts and I just love it there! Canada is so beautiful no matter where you go! I love Old Quebec City, Quebec, Montreal, Toronto, Thousand Islands, and I can't remember where else I was I just know that I loved it all!

i have always wanted to go to Niagara falls ever since i saw that TV series wonder wall where this woman who works in a gift store can speak to the figurines around her. and there was this one episode where they showed the falls and i always thought it an effect. so i goggled it and to my amazement almost every single picture was breath taking. its just too bad i live quite a distance from it. it is on my list of places to go though, and i will go there one day. lucky you already been there. good luck and god bless. cheers love.

Oh yeah, it's such spectacular breath taking scene, wish someday I would get a chance to experience it's beauty before me. But somehow because of its size and the super rushing current sends me chills that I might get carried away in those deep waters, that I would just like to look at it from a distance perhaps. Wish me luck! Ciao!

I've never been to Niagra falls but hear that its beautiful. My mom would love to go! It is expensive? My dad is scared of water and I dont think he would particularly enjoy it. My mom on the other hand is dying to go. About how much cash should you have on hand when going??
