Do you ever want to start a discussion but can't think of what to say?

That's how I feel right now. I keep going into different subjects hoping that something will click but I just keep drawing a blank. Does this happen to you and if so what do you do to jumpstart yourself?

yes it had happened to me many times and so i prefer replying others, mostly i have enough discussions in my mailbox, and they are sufficient for my time...when i have something really to say then only i start discussion. Nowadasy people have taken me as responder and i get very few replies even if i start some discussion, my old friends here aer also not active, earlier it was fun discussing things with them....

Yes, I've been having that problem a lot lately. Usually, when I'm having this problem, I go shopping or clean house for a lil bit. I also started what I call my cheat sheet. I have ideas at strange times (like the middle of the night) Instead of getting up & going on myLot to start a discussion, I write it down. Only problem is....after I wake up I can't remember what I meant when I wrote it down!!!

I always want to start discussions because I like to receive responses, I know what to say sometimes, I sometimes don't, depends on what I do and what I can think of to say.

I usually only ever start a discussion when i know i have something to start one with. I usually get my ideas for a topic to start a discussion from reading a magazine or just watching TV. I can sometimes go through my interest and find something to start a topic with since i have so many different interests that i have chosen on here. Usually when i read though is when i find the most things to start a topic on. Have a great rest of the day.
