One year into our presidential elections in our country but those interested in the race had started increasing their TV visibility. Do you participate in the election process in your country? Why or why not?

i do register to vote but never involved with it because the timing is not correct and i prefer to go to work and get paid then got nothing.plus my vote do not effect anything! i still think goverment is crook! they become richer day by day while we the people become poorer day by day!

It is a non-working holiday during election day in my country to give time for voters to vote, even those who are registered in the provinces. I believe that every vote has an effect one way or another. As the saying goes, the evil triumphs when good men do nothing. If no one votes against a crooked candidate he will surely win, even if nobody but himself votes for him.

i never participated in our elections here since then. it is because i was lazy in registering, thinking of falling in line to a lot of people registering too. but this time it will be the time that i have to register for me to vote next year's election.

Long lines during registration only happens on the last day. But since registration is open all year round you can avoid the long lines by registering earlier. I'm glad you are considering voting next year. I have always voted since I became a registered voter. Thanks for your post
