You are not very likely to get many producers to sell to you wholesale if you are only going to order 30 units at the maximum price of $3 each. Your shipping and handling costs would double the price at least. You also can't just sell anything. If you want a successful business you need to know your product. You don't say where you are planning to sell this. What is a best seller in one country/area might not be interesting to people in your area.

Thanks for your response. I agreed that the material handling cost will be higher than the material cost. And also it is not easy to find the supplier for the constraints. The initial quantity is only a test of the product and market response. Increasing in order quantity would be basing on market response. The target markets would be United States, and South East Asia.

It would help to know your region. Cotton/polyester T-shirts usually sell for like 5 for $10 USD. They usually have some design on them and they come in sizes small, medium, large. The extra large and up sizes usually cost a little more. The T-shirt stores are a big hit along the tourist trail because they usually have landmarks from around the city stamped on them or they have funny sayings on them. You might also consider coffee mugs for tourists.
