Kids should play well and enjoy their childhood life and the parents should never stand in the way. Leave them alone but at the same time care should be taken when they are left alone. They can do any thing under the guidance of the parents. Their childhood activies should not be curbed at all.

I couldnt agree more, infact now schools even adopt this approach and they do a learning through play education for the first 2 years at least. I have found this to be excellent my eldest loves school and has learnt a lot without any undue pressure put onto her to learn its amazing. My youngest is three and does go to preschool where she can play and make friends she adores it there even only have just started and the change in her is incredible and all because they encourage healthy play.

my child is three years old and he had never had a playmate. he would soon have when he goes to school. you see we rent a place here in the philippines and the neighbors' kids would've been okay had it not been for just one of them. it's difficult to explain but he is a little over in something...a little way too active and he doesn't have somebody who exclusively cares for him since his parents are not married and his mother is far away. he is left in the care of his grandparents who has an eatery to run. this child is also lacking in basic manners, sorry to say, since no one teaches him that. the moment he gains access to play with my son is the moment i would also have to watch over him since, like i said, no one really looks after him.
