Favorite Artist?

So. What is everyone's favorite artist, and why?
Personally, I like Soil. I can somewhat relate to some of their songs, but I like the way it's straight forward with the feeling and emotion. Not to mention I love the way it sounds, and the music. My friend introduced me to Soil a couple years ago. Before then, I didn't even know they existed.

Tegan and Sara is my favorite band right now. they make awesome music, are funny, beautiful, and seem to care for their fans. Their music is also very straightforward when it comes to emotions and i like that. Many of their songs mean a lot to me and i can relate to them. I have never heard of soil but i will check them out

Ah. Thats cool. I don't actually think I've heard them, but I'll listen to them in a little while, see if I like them.
Halo by Soil is usually the only song people are familiar with if you mention Soil, that or Black Betty.

wow it is hard to pick a favorite band or singer, I like a lot of different ones from different genres. But I woul dhave to say Jeremy Camp who is a Christian artist. I love his lyrics and they always evoke something within. His songs got me through some of the toughest moments of my life.

Thats cool. I was never really into christian music all that much, I don't dislike it or anything.. I just didn't find it over-appealing to me. I dunno. But thats cool, I'll have to see about looking him up sometime, if I get a moment.
