Hey my pc at home have been infected by some kind of virus. As i don't have a internet connection i did'nt install any Anti virus programs. The only way for my pc to get infected is through USB drives so i downloaded and installed USB Virus Scan program which prevents viruse to enter the pc from the usb drive.I think i left a thumb drive inserted and restarted a system. From then on i can't access task manager and registry tools. Hidden files option is not working . Can't get in to safe mode. The virus is blocking any attempt to unstall or run any antivirus or registry tools.pls help and don't suggest a reinstall....

Another suggestion, if I may, is that you apply for an internet connection. You are missing a lot, working alone, when there are lots of resources, lots of information available in the world wide web, just waiting to be tapped, utilized, and put to good use.

have you checked for the restore points? that's one of the solution to get rid of such issues but looking at the different types of attacks that this virus has already made on the computer, i doubt if the system restore option is working either... but you can give it a try...
