If you leave home in hurry to go to work, do you use the driving time to put on make up?? I don't drive yet because I have hubby to drive me to places. I don't think I would be one of the people that cut nails or draw eyeline when I'm driving since I'm very careful of those thing especially I would be new to drive. I have seen girls put on mascara really, I thought it was impressive but it seems like it is very common thing that people do, go check it out! http://editorial.autos.msn.com/article.aspx?cp-documentid=1010601 Are you doing any of these things? ;-)

i dont have a car by now so i dont have the chance to do that thing.if i have a car.i may not risk my life to put on when i am driving.thats too terrible.i wont do that even if i have a car.i suggest all of my friend here and around my life dont do it too.we have our life only once.treasure our lives as more as we can.for ourselves and our families too.if some bad thing happed to us.how worried they will be.how terrible.i think you should read some new rule of the mylot that they dont agree you to put on links here.so next time when you start or respose a discussion.do remember.or may do harm to you.just advise.good advise.nice to meet you here.i am a new comer.

Hi mermaid...Every single morning! I'm constantly in a rush to get out the door since I have to get myself and my son ready for going out. It was much simpler when it was just me. But life is different now and I haven't gotten it down to where I can allot a bigger portion of time to getting ready in the morning. Maybe one day soon I'll get a schedule down to where I'm not as rushed in the morning.

No I never do that. I do not often where make up but if i did I still would not do it. I would hate to take someone else s life just because I was to busy putting on my lipstick and run a red light or stop sign. You get my drift

I do not put make up in the normal days. I will do it when attending dinner. Even putting make up for dinner, I will not do it when driving. The 1st reason is, I'm not very good in make up, if make up when driving will be worst. The 2nd reason is, it's dangerous to make up when driving, may lost the way.

No i never do that, When we are driving we should be paying attention to the road. It would probably cut down on the number of accidents if everyone stopped doing other things when they are driving..Like putting on make up, talking on the phone, and all the other things they try doing while driving.

Yea... that's very dangerous, not care about themselves and others.

I do not wear makeup anymore - if I did I should hope that I wouldn't put it on while driving. Not only is it distracting from watching the road and dangerous for that reason - but if you slip you won't just mess up your makeup but you may well injure your eye.

Hello mermaidivy, I hate this and I never put on make up while driving - no matter whether I am in a hurry or not. If I can't do it at home, I just come out from the house with bare face and put on the make up as I wish when I reach my office. I had an experience related to this before. It was quite terrible traffic and the cars moved slowly. I gave signal to go to the right lane. The woman in a four wheel drive was busy putting on mascara and lipstick on her lips and didn't even move to give me way until the driver behind her honked several times loudly. Then only she put her hands on the steering!

I drive since I was 15 and I never do something like that. Sometimes, I late for work but I just grab something to do at work place, not while im driving. It is very dangerous to put make up on while you are driving. I dont put my life like this at all. I see most people spend time behind the wheels and put make up on, and it becomes more regularly to them, and that's not include talking on the phone and text message.

No, I don't... IMHO, only a total numpty would do that! If they think they dont look their best without the make-up, how much better do they think they'd look in the morgue or behind bars on a manslaughter charge?? I dont think its impressive... I think it's irresponsible.

I have to admit I have been guilty of this in the past when I worked in the office field, I did do the makeup at the stop lights, but never while driving...I would have a few items on my lap and as I hit a red light then I would put something on...LOL but I have seen where there have been accidents because a lady was putting on lipstick while the car was in motion.....I was never that bad!! I remember those days that I was so concerned about getting my makeup perfect and rushing to work and doing things like putting on makeup. but now I am a full time mom and well what gets done before I leave the house is about it... now I have the 2 kids to distract me enough while driving --I cant try to do to many things while driving anymore. happy mylotting!!

I dont put make up on while driving. The most I will do is put on my lipstick or gloss cause I dont need a mirror to do those things. I can still look at the road and put it on.

I do not put makeup on when I am driving. I don't really wear much makeup anymore but if I did I would have my makeup on before I left the house.

no i will not do these kind of things... that is just being dumb and irresponsible. and i am not impressed either by people who do such things, i get angry when my husband use the cellphone to text while driving how much more those that put on make-up while driving. they are not only endangering their lives but also putting the life of other people at risk. what if they hit somebody or hit another car, or got into accident... that is just plain stupid (sorry... but that is how i view it), accidents happens in a blink of an eye... in seconds... so why take a chance?

I don't put my base, eyeliner, eyeshadow, etc. on while I'm driving....but I will use powder or gloss while I'm driving. This is something I can do w/out actually looking in a mirror...it's been done so many times I think I could do it with my eyes closed....lol

Even I'm always the passenger, I don't do make up besides lipstick and lipgloss.

No I do not do this and I would never attempt it. I might put on a little lip moisturiser if the car was stuck in traffic but that is it. I think it poses a very serious hazard to try and put on make-up during driving and I cannot understand why people do this. I actually think there should be a penalty to drivers that do this.

Putting make up on while driving is stupid and irresponsible. I had a friend in highschool who got hit by a car, the driver was putting on makeup. She was lucky, the officer said that if the lady had been going any faster she would have killed my friend. If you are ever running late, please just forget the make up, is it really that dang important; to risk your life and the life of others?
