Preasure Washington to get rid of the partriot act

How many of you think the patriot act should be repealed completely? How many of you are willing to put preasure on your elected officials to do it? How many of you are willing to keep putting preasure on them until they do it no matter how long it takes? How many of you are willing to protest over it?
Lets see how the american public really feels about the patriot act.

good. stay at it. They need to know we do not like it and we want it gone. They need to see that we are serious about it. And definately they need to see that we will support them in their efforts to get rid of it.

I think it should never have been passed and I've been letting my Representative and my Senators know this for several years now. I intend to continue doing so with even more determination after reading the story about the 16 year old being taken away from his mother! Yes, I WOULD be willing to protest over it as long as the protest WAS about the Patriot Act and didn't get "hijacked" by some fringe group worried about Obama's birth certificate or a woman's right to choose. To succeed at getting something this important done we have to focus on the issue at hand like a laser.

i agree it would have to be very focused. I think the issue of what is going on with the patriot act is not party politics. It effects everyone in this country. And I have yet to meet anyone who is for this stupid thing.
I don't know if the boy really did do the threats. But even if he did he should be in a regular court of law with rights and due process. What has been done to him could be done to any of us. Heck serial killers get more rights in court than this kid. And he did not kill anyone. He made a stupid but serious mistake. If he did it.
THank you for continueing to remind your elected officials that we want the patriot act repealed. Keep the preasure up and hopefully if enough of us are calling and writting than they will get the idea.
I am still doing more research on Ashton Lundeby. As soon as I find anything else out I will post it.
