Is Twilight better than Harry Potter

definitely nope! i have expect something really big of twilight when i go to watch the movie but end up disappointing! harry potter 10000 much better than twilight! i think twilight novel is much better than the movie! but i give thumb up on the twilight movie because they shoot on gorgeous place,effect and the way they end the movie!love the final scene fighting scene!but that doesn't help to change my view on how awful they did the film!

I only ever read the first Harry Potter book and I really wasn't a fan. I read the first Twilight book because my sister bragged about how great it was and then I ended up LOVING IT! I definitely like Twilight better than Harry Potter. I don't know why exactly. I feel like Harry Potter is geared more towards children than Twilight is towards teenagers.

I like both. but I prefer Twilight. I love a bit of cheesy vampire tacktasticness

I really like them both; I was an avid Harry Potter reader when I was in middle school, but now I'm totally engrossed in the twilight series.

I prefer Twilight over Harry Potter, because Twilight is a romantic movie and not just fantasy adventure, it has romantic punches which is more endearing and inspiring to watch. Harry potter is purely fantasy adventure with silly magic themes.

There is no comparison. They are both amazing books, but they are both set differently, in different worlds for crying out loud! You can't compare them because J.K Rowling's books take place in a different world than Twilight. Twilight takes place in the real world, whereas Rowling has creating an amazing fantasy world away from prying Muggle eyes.

As much as I like Twilight I don't the saga nor Stephenie Meyer could ever compete with Harry Potter and JK Rowling. I don't even think it's fair to compare the two stories because they're so different from one another. I think JK Rowling is a brilliant and intelligent writer. Stephenie Meyer I think is mediocre but she scored big with creating such a compelling love story. I think that the Twilight saga is geared towards hopeless romantics like myself where as Harry Potter is more for the masses. If forced to choose I'd choose Harry Potter :)

Hi! I haven't read any Harry Potter books and I think I've only seen one movie and I hardly remember it. I do like the Twilight series and I really enjoyed reading them and I also like the movie and I'm just waiting or the New Moon movie to come out.

I am going to say no but only based on the fact that the Harry Potter publishers printed enough books and so most readers did not have to wait to get the books. I am biased though, my husband was going to buy me the Twilight box set for Christmas but they sold out and he was told that a new shipment would be in by mid Jan. It was not until March that the box sets came in and before that the stores in my town and online (the ones that I looked at) Did not have a copy of every book, only one or two.

for me ya.i really like twilight than harry potter.since the first harry potter i dont like that movie.it so different with twilight,i really fall in love with.i really waiting for the next movie.i already read the book.it so good story!.i dont wanna lose it.i always replay the movie.i realy like twilight

Well I personally dont think they are in the same league. One cannot compare them. I mean they are just different. Pure magic which includes witches, gaints, elves and so many other magical creature and on one hand just vampires. How can one compare.
