oh, MGD!have to choose one? It is quite difficult to live with lack one of 5 senses which i have already been used to, hmm... qinqinone's topic is always like this way - serious. OK, I think if I have to choose, I prefer to lose the taste, although It will lose the happiness of eating delicious food, but I think it is less harmless to ppl than losing the other senses, just my opinion.

I wont't give up my any sense amongst five sense. because all the senses are very very important for human. But if I have to give your answer then it may be test If I can't test then it won't be much problem then with other senses.

I am short sighted and I have to wear contact lenses. I would hate to give up my sight because seeing is very important to me. I wouldn't want to give up on my hearing either because I would miss music. I want to be able to eat so I would want to keep my sense of taste. I like textures so I would like to get rid of my sense of touch. I would therefore have to choose to give up smelling because then I would be able to avoid unpleasant fragrances.

If I had to give up one of my senses I wouldn't choose my sight or my hearing, because without sight I wouldn't be able to see the colours when I paint and without hearing I wouldn't be to listen to music which I love. I would have to choose between smell, taste and touch. I think that it could lead to some dangerous situations if I lost my sense of touch, and that leaves smell and taste. I love to eat spicy food, candy and delicious cakes so I would really miss the sense of taste I would miss the sense of smell, too but that would be my choice.

We were designed with 5 senses and it would be difficult to function normally if we lose any of our senses. But if I were to give up any, it would be the sense of smell. I have become quite used to not being able to smell anything. I am often without my sense of smell for several days straight because of allergies. When I have an allergic reaction, which happens quite often, something swells up in my nose and I lose my sense of smell totally. When this happens my sense of taste is affected too. I can only distinguish different tastes like saltiness, sweetness, sourness but I can't distinguish different flavors. I still wish I'd be able to stop and SMELL the flowers more often. =)

Nice question. I honestly, unlike everyone else would give up hearing. I do agree without touch makes love a little meaningless, without sight- well selfish of me to say I couldn't drive, also see the beauty in things. Without smell you can't smell the roses, and without taste well you can't taste how wonderful things are. Also it is true when you lose one sense the others pick up. As per the reason I can never give up my sense of smell, (I'll give up the sense to smell the bad scents :)) but not the good ones.

I would think the easiest one to give up would be the sense of taste. The other senses are way too important in our daily lives. I had originally thought about choosing to give up the ability to smell, but being able to smell things is extremely useful. Smell enables us to know when something is burning, or to know when the milk is sour in the container BEFORE we drink it.

Wow, what a question to ask! Let me think about it seriously. The senses of touch, sight, smell, taste and sound, which would I give up? Without the sense of touch, I think it would means less of love. Touching is a way to show love to someone you care, like touching my baby gently. I do not want to lose that. Without the sense of sight, I would not be able to know how the world look like. But then with the short-sightedness, I can considered half blind without glasses. I hate to be blind. Without the sense of smell, I would not know how the aroma of the coffee and flowers is like, but I would also not know how smelly it is of the rubbish and fish. Without the sense of taste, all the delicious food would be come tasteless. No, I love to eat! I need my taste buds. Without the sense of sound, I wont be able to hear my baby calling me mama. Ok, the answer would be the sense of smell!

Wow,such a interesting and scare and serious question!I think smell or taste could be sacraficed if there is no other choice.Without sight and hearing will make you trouble in the ordinary study and living. With touch, you will in danger in some cases. And because you've already have the memeroy of the common smell and taste,so if these two disfuntionalised.Everything will seems going to carry on... Anyway, living with all of them work well is really great and should be cherrished by the abled ones!

Man, lets see.....taste. As much as I would hate that, I can still live without. I was about to say smell, but what if there is a fire or a bad chemical smell. So taste.
