I've seen the question, "what would you choose if you could choose the way you die?" thrown around a few times.
that is to say, besides dying of old age how would you choose for your life to end???
well, I love watching shows on science and nature........just about anything on The Discovery Channel, The Science Channel, The National Geographic Channel, and The History Channel.
I've seen many shows about what wiped out the dinosaurs, and can it happen again...killer asteroids...black holes...and other doomsday scenarios for Earth.
and I've decided, that's the way I want to go......A GLOBAL CATACLYSMIC EVENT!!!
perhaps a killer asteroid slamming into the planet.
or a super nova from a nearby star causing a shock wave which would peel away The Earth's atmosphere allowing the planet to be bombarded with extreme radiation wiping out life as we know it.
or maybe something as simple as a black hole getting too close to our planet, sucking us in and spaghettifying everyone and everything, and ripping us apart all the way down to the atoms that make us up.......
yeah..............that would be cool! 
of course, if this did end up being the way I die, it would mean I would have to take you and the rest of civilization with me. 
does this make me a selfish person???

Well, if WE are going by asteroid.. I want it to hit my house.. cause I don't wanna risk just being boogered up and no one around to fix me! lol!
P.S. I will meet ya at heaven's gate and slap you around a bit for making US ALL go with ya! lol!

I got plenty of duct tape if you get all boogered up or something.
plus just think of all the stuff we could do FOR FREE.........in between trying to re-populate The Earth that is.

Now that would be a big bang..Of course finding a place to put it might take some consideration, we wouldn't want you to be uncomfortable in your last seconds of life."Linda lights a test dynamite and runs.." BANG! Yeppers the TNT is in working order. Missy bear better get her running shoes on..

I'm not afraid....it's just that dying peacefully in your bed of old age is SOOOOOO boring. 
actually, the discussions I've seen come up, always ask, how would you die if you could choose, besides old age......i don't want to be shot, stabbed, decapitated, drowned, burned, suffocated, electrocuted or any other of your standard ways of dying.
I'd rather go out with a bang.......A BIG BANG!!!

I'd like to suffocate at the bottom of a writhing pit of naked cheerleaders! Either that, or by drowning in a massive vat of Blue Label Scotch. The black hole scenario you shared does sound kinda interesting though, I must admit! What I'd like to happen is for the earth to firstly hurtle through multiple universes and THEN get shredded in a black hole. At least with this situation we'd get to go out with a massive show along the way!

Hey sconi! I haven't made a decision on the way I want to die
yet! I really don't think about it as much as you do I guess!
I would like it to be as painless as possible! And I guess I
don't really want to see it coming! Why do you want it to be
som catastrophic and magnificent? Why can't it just be quick
and quiet? Doe it have to be so grand and you need to take
everyone with you? Personally, I don't want to be spaghettified!
WTF! I don't like that idea! Can't you just think on a smaller
and quieter scheme of things! Thanks, it would be greatly appreciated!

If I had to die I would either want to die instantly without beforehand knowledge of it or in my sleep..Even though if I did know beforehand I would have time to ask forgiveness of all my sins and so on..But to die as you described would be very weird indeed. Only highlight in that is that we wouldn't have to die alone.

I am not that adventurous so I would like to go in my sleep...you know I just go to sleep thinkig all's well with the world and end up waking in another realm...wont that be cool too?!

I have these weird dreams of getting abducted by aliens when I was young, hehe, there was this strong light which glazed on my face that I couldn't breathe felt like the light was getting my soul out of my body, then aliens just appeared and instead of joining fingers with me, they bit my pointing finger, then I woke up... I woke up in reality that the ligth was due to headlights of trucks maneuvering from the street ( my room's window is facing the intersection)and my finger, well it was bitten but not by the alien but by a cockroach, hehe loved eating junkfoods before going to sleep... So esson for the day.. Wash your hands before going to sleep hehe..
It think it is cool to die that way,or rather transfer to another dimension, still alive but to live in a different world-aliens who hopefullly have the face of Brad Pitt and the brains of OBAMA.
