Cars are more trouble than they are worth!

Do you agree? Mine keeps breaking and it costs so much money to fix each time. I hate driving as well, I wish I could work from home all the time and not have to have a car at all

I half agree. Cars are a pain to maintain and repair, but they have so many advantages too. I've been lucky to have a company car for a few years, so I just put fuel in and drive it. If anything needs to be fixed I take it to the garage and they fix it for free (free to me anyway!). In a few months I will have to buy my own car and pay for all servicing and maintainence. I'm dreading that, but have a mechanic friend who I will be buying lots of pints! There are too many cars on the roads, so I think anybody who doesn;t need a car should not have one and just hire if they need one occasionally. Those living in inner cities don;t really need them, but I live in the 'burbs so I would have to spend about 3 hours every day using busses just for work. As someone already said, I don't make best use of it as I'm busy these days but it's nice to know that wherever I want to go, it's outside my house waiting.

Cars can be a real headache and expensive to keep up. I am fortunate enough to have a husband that knows how to fix ours when it breaks down. I used to love driving but I leave it mainly to my husband now to drive. I moved to Nicaragua a couple of years back and most people here do not own cars. There are many taxis and buses.

I hear you about the headache, we are pretty good at maintenance, its things like the clutch going that I can't fix myself

i agree to a certain extent. Cars may be a pain in the butt, but it gets you to work. I and it takes you wherever you need to be. IF your single, the right car will get you a HOTT girl ! lol

Now thats an interesting concept, do men anctually want the sort fo girl that is attracted by a shiny motor? If I was a bloke that would be a signal to run away to me!

not yet (knocks on wood) it could be a pain but to mee its worth it, and it all depends what brand of car and year u have

Well,It actually depends on what car you are having. If it's a new car then i don't think it will break down so easily.

Idk i would love to have a car, because with one you have the freedom to go wherever you want. Just think about it, you could be bored at home one saturday morning and just decide to take off and hit the slopes. Be optimistic about it.
