anyone have any experience with job corps?

My son and i have been discussing job corps as a way for him to move forward into education and careers. I just would like to know if anyone has a child enrooled in job corps. How they like it or doslike it. If they had any problems with the program, and any success stories about it.

I actually had a friend go into to it a few years ago to be a chef. He said that the classes he had to take were rough on him, since he'd always been a slacker, but that he ended up knowing everything he needed for the job he has. He's close to having his own restaurant now, so I would definitely suggest Job Corps.
