are you a good listener?

Well, I could say that depending on the person who needs an ear to listen to, I could be a good one. In fact, recently, a friend invited me over for a dinner for the cause of hearing his problem. I felt good and flattered since I was being trusted with his personal concerns, wherein I know that the person has many friends to turn to. There are people though who doesn't want to express their problems so I leave them that unless they are the ones who come to me... and I could listen to them all day long.

Yes I am a good listener, I'm a listener type than a talker. I believe that if I listen to people talk their ideas out, I'll learn more in life. But I also have time to share mine.

Yes, i think i am. Most people look forward to talking to me because they know that i would listen and give them sound advice. I've listened to a lot of people. People i don't really expect to open up like my girlfriend's friend who called me up crying and telling me about her problems with her boyfriend. Some people would also share their secrets with me. Well their secrets are safe with me because i really don't plan on telling them to others simply because i won't get anything from it.

I think I am a pretty good listener for my friends. But with my husband, sometimes I start to space out and think about other stuff, since mostly he talks nonstop about WORK. ERG!!! I am getting so sick of hearing about work. Anyway, when it is something important I listen to him. Like I said, I am a good listener for my friends, and try to give advice when asked or implied. I love to share my ideas with others.
