do you use spects/glasses

I had spects.my number was -7 for right eye & -8 for left with 1.5 cylindrical.It is really a high number.sometimes i found my self irritated because of these glasses as when i had to attend any party or something,i could not go for eye make up as it doesn't make much difference when you wear glasses.so I decided to go for lasik surgery.I gone through lasik a few months back.now i am happy that i can see withought glasses & i look beautiful too.
what do you say do you wear glasses?are you happy with this?are you planning to go for anything to get them removed?

I have specs too, have been having them since the age of 7. its -9 on both eyes, I think I am astigmatic. After school, I had taken up contacts and am wearing them since them. They are OK otherwise but of course the discomfort level is there if I wear them continuously for long hours and then there’s dust particles too! I have heard of LASER and of course two people (incl. you) have mentioned it positively and there are good facilities in my city too, but I am too scared to have my eyes operated…just suppose something goes wrong and I cant see ever again!

As your name indicates,I think you are from India.if yes I want to know your city & your age,I'll see if i can suggest you something.I also used to wear contact lenses but i found them uncomfortable.don't be scare,actually i was scared too,when i was geting my eyes operated,i was thinking the same,if i can't see ever again.i was the last one to be operated that day because i had the highest number,so doctor kept me for the last to be operated.but now i work continously on computer but i am totally fine.

Yes I am for my astigmatism. The doctor told me I am also near-sighted. I don't know how they put numbers in it or grade it but I heard something like 75 both eyes. My right eye also needed a 'cylinder' because it's more damaged than my left I think.
