I hope MyLotters would act their age and post discussions that are not answerable by yes or no. It would be more exciting and challenging on our intellect.

Absolutely! But if it is answerable by yes or no you can actually add your thoughts and ideas why you answered yes or no, right? I also answer discussion that is answerable by yes or no but I explain why. Usually my answer is really not a fix yes or no but it depends.

'Do you like milk?' is a 'poll type' discussion and so specifically against the Guidelines. Any such 'discussions' are likely to be routinely deleted.

I know exactly what you mean, some people just don't put very much thought into their discussions because they just want to make it quick and get their money,...me personally i try to make a topic thats not yes or no and i also try to give my own insight into things and maybe like ask another question along with the original topic question

The problem is that many people are 'acting their age' ... or, at least, the art of discussion has reached such a pretty pass that that is all that people can think of as a 'discussion'. I'd appreciate your input on what you think makes a good discussion (either here, as a comment, or here http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/2004528.aspx as a response).
