I dont know if you have heard of this place...it is in Munising Michigan. They have these rock formations that have developed over many many years and they call them "Pictured rocks" ... you can take your boat by them, kayak near them... and there are about 5 natural waterfalls near there as well... It is such a great place to go and see .... and a great family vacation. I have been there twice so far....once my senior year in high school and then shortly after I got married I took my husband up to the UP since he never visited up there... and we toured it. Do you ever research areas around your State to look into small getaways for family??

They are a great place to go. Also (forgive the spelling) Tagannome Falls and the cliffs above the clouds. I also like the gaylord area.

I meant to add... I think my state needs us to support it so I stick to it when traveling except when I go home to NY. Sorry... I was talking with family and lost my train of thought. I do that. *shrug*

Only recently, I got to know about it from my friend who is visiting that place. He has shared some beautiful pictures as well. Its a great place, beautiful, pristine and mesmering - that's what I heard. I try my best to do that but guess what, I fail on most occasions. My mind flies but my body gets static.
