When I was a kid I had fear in injection but now I getting used to it. Everytime I had a blood test I'm not afraid of needles I want to see the medtech on how they withdraw blood from my veins. My only complain about sometimes the medtech can't properly put the needle and it hurts.

Glad that you don't have to take injections anymore ivan. When I was pregnant I had gestational diabetics (pregnancy diabetics) and I had a hard time controlling it. At first they prescribed me pills but it didn't work either so I had to take insulin injections and sometimes I had to do it myself. It was horrible for me. I am glad now that after I gave birth I don't have it anymore.

If I am going to get injections in my vain then it is no problem for me but if it is going to be injected in flesh, then it is really painful and I wouldn't not like to have injectsion that time. If it going to be done in vain, there is no pain at all, that we face due to spirits they apply at that vain. So, no pain, no fear.

Umm . . not all. I'm ok with the regular ones and in the right places. But I'm scared as hell of those needles they use to take blood samples and anesthesia injections at the dentists !!

im in a profession wherein needles play a big part of my daily activity. i always tell the person in front of me that one, it is going to hurt ( im not going to lie and say it wont!)two, you need it to get better, and you do want to be better right? from one painful experience comes cure ( most of the time)

I always have this phobia for injections and I would rather opt for pills rather then going through the trauma of the needles. I am frighten of the needles that pierce through my skin. No not for me.

I used to fear injection when I was just a kid because one nurse was inexperienced in putting needles on some ones skin. and I felt victim to her wrong doing, my blood pour out that my mom called out all doctors in the hospital to helped me. iv'e heard a decade later that Nurse went to US for additional training. so, not fair she didn't even apologize!. hope some one does that to her, she'd feel the pain

i hate injections. i have had to have a lot in the past and i didn't really like it when i was younger if my parents came in with me. so i just held the other nurses hand and almost broke it. by the time they had finished all the injections the poor woman's hand was bright red and swollen. i still hate injections with a passion

100% guarantee I have a fear on injections anything just not that waaaaaaaaaa even the mention of that things makes me wanna waaaaaaaaaaa.Call me crazy but thats just me. When I was a child, I usually got sick and go to hospitals. I never feared this before but there was this one very fat nurse who is going to inject me. Seeing how big she was I feared that she might eventually break the needle if I move when injected. I had this wild imaginations that she wont be able to do it properly. Since then I feared injection and every time I get it I would remember my childhood fear. Got injected recently for anti flu, and do you want to know what happened?waAAAAAAAAAAAAAAI cried. Twas embarrassing coz I am a big guy who cried after the injection lol lol

I have no fear of injections luckly, and according to my parents I've never had. All that I need is actually looking (if possible) while I take the injection, just to 'check' what happens. What concernes me a bit is actually making injections. I had to learn to do it becaue my mother needed them for a while, and i can say that making them is much more difficult than taking them: you have to be pefectly sure of what you are doing, prepare it properly and being as soft and quick as possible.

Injections can be scary if you have to do them yourself, im my experience just get someone to do them for you. I used blue needles for my jabs, they dont hurt that much..

Rheumatic fever is not as common in the US nowadays, but I'm not a fan of injections either. After I had my daughter, the hospital never called MY pediatrician to ask if I was up to date on my rubella vaccine and gave me another dose. Turns out I WAS up to date and received an unneccessary injection. I developed complications and had to remain hospitalized a few extra days. I felt the medicine go in my arm and it hurt! Since then I've had complications with injections and can't stand them!

I'm scared of needles, I can't go for blood tests or injections on my own because as soon as the doctor or nurse comes near me, I'll start crying and try to get away. I used to have an injection every 11 weeks as birth control but I had to take my dad with me so he could hold onto me while I was getting it done. Strangly enough though, I have 5 tattoos and plan on getting more. I can sit there for hours getting a tattoo but can't have injections, how weird is that lol
