For Asian People, there are plain white rice, which are favored by majority of Asian population. They also have brown rice, which is not my favorite. In mexican restaurant, I had tasted some red rice, which I don't really know what that is. I don't really like it too. On the market, I saw some butter rice, which was added flavor to it. I just wonder how many kind of rice out there, and which one is your favorite?

I am a Filipino and a certified rice eater. I love the plain white rice and I also like the garlic rice. The plain white rice must always be present on our dining table or else our meal will never be complete. In our family, we usually eat bread only during snack time. The garlic rice is my all-time order in restaurants.

i take white rice and flatten it in a large frying pan, with enough heat to toast the bottom of the rice, then flip it over sprinkling with water so as to toast the other side untill it gets "crunchy" spread a little oyster sauce on it and munch away. chinese house rice i like with shrimp and veggies. i was talking to a woman from the phillipines and she told me about a pink rice, i have yet to find it in the states at least by me. i also like sticky rice wrapped in a banana leaf. now im hungry gotta go.

I only eat plain white rice, but I know other kinds of rice, like brown rice. But I didn't eat it since I can remember thing. We all know that plain white rice is tasteless, that's why I love it so much. I mean it can satisfy you hunger in the meanwhile you will not get boring with it easily. Happy everyday! Clorissa123, I love China!

I am come from China, and I eat plain white rice often. I have not tried other kind of rice before, I was told that the black rice is very good. But I don't know what the flavor of black rice is. It's common to see it in the supermarket. I will have a try some day.

i think some people call it brown rice. i mean that red rice you mentioned. i heard it doesn't really taste good but is loaded with vitamins. i also learned it takes a lot longer to cook. i like the white rice since that was what i grew accustomed to. i was planning to buy that brown rice but since i learned that "longer time to cook" trait of that rice i decided not to push with my plan anymore. the usual steamed rice is okay. plain fried rice with dried minced garlic is perfect. fresh garlic is okay but the dried minced garlic makes plain fried rice faster to do. crab flavored fried rice is also okay. there are sauces to be added to fried rice available already and my favorite flavors are: "bagoong" or anchovy flavor, japanese sauce for that japanese style of fried rice and paella flavor.

I'd say White Rice. My mom bought some Brown Rice before, but I didn't like the taste. I thought it was too starchy. I have not been eating rice since March this year because I am on a diet. Hahaha.

I am Filipino and love rice, but I haven't tried other kind of rice apart from white rice which we normally eat! I like and prefer jasmine rice, but they quite expensive. I've heard that brown rice is far more healthier than white and I would like to try this one day.

I'm an Asian Chinese. In our country, the plain white rice is more preferred and bought by most of us here. In addition, we also have brown rice, and the calrose rice. We can also find the Japanese short grain rice here as well. I will say that most of the time in my life, I'm using eating the plain white rice. However, I will prefer the Japanese short grain. However, as it's more expensive, I will only buy once in a while.

I am an Indian and rice eater. cooked rice is relished only with side dishes. Indian curries with rice are very delicious. so also from other rice eating countries. according to the availability of some ingredients, dishes are made from every country. Cooked rice alone can not be eaten because it is tasteless. But definitely it will fill your stomach and satisfy your hunger.
