When you get good news, who's the first one to know about it?

When you're excited or happy who's the first person you share the information with? Similarly, when you're sad or in distress who's the person you go or talk to? Why? As for me, if it's good news it has always been my boyfriend, then follows my mother and family, then my friends. I don't know why, perhaps it's because I usually talk to them first or they're closer to me. What about you?

It is always my wife who gets the good news first. And the prime reason is she is the only one in the world who would be thrilled 100% by any good news.

Wow, that's a good response. Indeed the prime person in your life would be the one most thrilled by any good news! Thanks for dropping by. By the way, just curious, how does she react?

your boyfriend? Did you get together after that breakup! For me, it is my brother. I share every good news with him but if it is a bad news then my mum is the one with whom I share it because he is younger to I!

My personal confident for sad and happy moments are, in order: my girlfriend my sister my friends my family. Obviously it depends on the type of my problem, for serious things, my family has more importance!!!

So you're saying there are problems which should rather be discussed with family than a girlfriend?

wow! That's great! I could never really talk openly to my dad. I think it's because we have clashing personalities.

It's true that joys and good news are great to share to everyone, but I don't think bad news needs to be told to more than one person, specially your parents. The additional worry isn't worth it if you know they can't really help.

It's always been my mom. I want her to hear the good news first. I want her to be proud of me of course. Especially since i have little things achieved. I want to make her happy too! I think it will uplifts her spirit at least for the mean time. Next would be my dad of course! So basically, it should be my family who would know the good news first.

When I get good news, the first one to know about it is my boyfriend and later I will have to tell my parents. I think my boyfriend is much closer to me and besides we've been together for five years now and trusted him. I will my parents later too and they are also important in my life to let them know the good news that I get.

Hello laydee. I always tell my wife first. Like what you said, my wife is the closest to me and we always talk to each other about what happened to us. So it is very normal for us to share news with each other.

Whenever I get a good or bad news, my boyfriend is the first one to know about it. Mainly because in every minute of the day, even if we are apart, we do communicate with each other so both of us are updated of our daily activities. Next to know about it is my family. I admit that in our family, we are not that open to each other and I could say that I'm closer to my distant boyfriend than to my parents.

The first one is the Lord to say thank you to him. And secondly come those who it concerns: family or friends or even online community.

the first persons whom i talk to when im happy and either sad are my parents and ofcourse, my boyfriend. because they are the persons whom i trust and love and ill be happy to let them know any improvements, good news and anything that might happen to me positively. for i know they will be happy for me and be happy to see me in such joy for my accomplishments and good fortune. and then i tell my friends.
