Left or right?

Did you ever think of it? Some countries have traffic rules asking drivers to keep left whereas others ask you to keep right. If you were to cruise in a foreign country with the opposite rule as yours, what would you do?

Of course ,we should obey their rutles, but if you think it is too hard to get used to it ,then do not drive,as some friends said ,taking a taxi maybe a good choice.

Correct! Very correct! In fact, that's what everyone might have done, right? WELL, I really appreciate your willingness to participate. God Bless.

This is highly dangerous problem..In our country we stick to left side driving...and the steering is in the right side..But in countries like America its just the opposite..It is highly dangerous while taking curves..U will directly go to the front of vehicles..You will be more prone to accidents.

You are very correct. Things can get really bad when you have to change the direction of driving. I am an Indian too and I have come across people who face this problem. Some of my uncles in America had this starting trouble. They got used to this of course.

I would hail a taxi or get a bus

That's exactly what I'll do. That's the most comfortable thing right. I mean what good can you experience cruising in your own vehicle with no idea where to stay. It might be better to book a travel agency ticket. I would do that. What about you?

That might be a good option too. I would definately not attempt to drive because as you suggest there would be nopleasure in it at all.

Hmmm...Tell me, have you been put in a situation like this before? I mean, a situation where you were in some other country and couldn't drive properly? My uncles in America had faced this problem when they went there for the first time. They got used to it of course...

It has happened to me and at first I was a bit confused, but then the rules of driving are the same and it takes only some time to adjust. My worst fear though is driving next to roundabouts... I always am in doubt on which side to go and that is quite difficult because you can end up on the wrong side!!!

Glad to see you responding here. And sorry to see you in a confused state. And thank god you didn't mess up with the roundabout. Those are one of the worst things that could happen. Take care, AJ.
