I notice that many of the discussion talking about what you would want to do if you know that you are going to die tomorrow, but there is no discussion on how would you spend your life if you live long. I would want to share with you some points that I read up from an article about Shigeaki Hinohara, one of the world's longest-service physicians and educators. How does Shigeaki Hinohara manage to live a long and happy life? 1. Energy comes from feeling good, not from eating well or sleeping a lot. 2. All people who live long regardless of nationality, race or gender are none overweight. 3. Always plan ahead. 4. There is no need to ever retire, but if one must, it should be a lot later than 65. 5. Share what you know. 6. When a doctor recommends you to take a test or have some surgery, ask whether the doctor would suggest that his or her spouse or children go through such a procedure. 7. To stay healthy, always take the stairs and carry your own stuff. 8. Pain is mysterious, and having fun is the best way to forget it. 9. Do not be crazy about the amassing material thing. 10. Find a role model and aim to achieve even more than what they could ever do. 11. It is wonderful to live long. There are more than the above, but the eleven points that I listed out are those that I think more relevant to normal people. To summarize it, I think a person who is moderate, generous, contented, hardworking and organize can live life longer. Do you have anything to share on this topic? What is your point of view? What do you think that can make a person live longer?

I think the key is to stay active and involve yourself in your community. I think that when you allow life to get your down, you stay in bed, you get sick, you stay sick. If however you stay active and doing things the longer you will live. Life is an adventure and given no terminal illness, or accidents you should do what you can to extend your life.
