When I started my online job and become so busy with it, I find it hard to give time to myself in reading books.I can say that I am a lover of books and I read many stories as I can. Even when I was still little, I love reading and sharing what I read to my friends and classmates. Through mylot, I learned that internet can offer us an opportunity to know stories even we don't have a time to read. It is through listening to audio books. I find it very beneficial. I am listening to it everytime I am online and doing encoding job in my computer. It makes me also increase my vocabulary. Everytime I hear an unfamiliar word, I immediately search for the meaning of it on online dictionary. Do you do same also online?

So far I have not the experience of listening to audio books, but the other day I saw at my son's home a package of English audio books. He and my daughter in law use it to learn English. They listen to the audio books on their way to work. They also have audio books for their son. It serves as his luluby before going to sleep. In addition to knowing the stories, they help to increase vocabulary. It is good way to substitute busy parents, at least partially. For elderly people, whose eyesight is deteriorating, audio books will one day replace reading. I might try to accept this form too.

I am not a fan of audio books at all! I love to read. I love getting all of the stories I can. I never have as much time to read as I would like! I spend a lot of time in the car. I have an hour drive to work everyday. I tried audio books at one time. I just find myself spacing out. After a couple of minutes, I will realize that I wasnt listening. I will have to try to back track to find the last thing I heard. It gets very frstrating, so I gave up! I do know other people who love the audio books. Many of them are older people who cant read very well anymore because of their eyesight. It is great for them because they still get the new books, but they arent hurting their eyes!
