I always go to the gym for almost 8 months now and i have my own PT (physical instructor). I do it 3x a week and i do 30 mins cardio and i found out that im not losing weights although my size is losing it as what i expected. My questions is does it really work that way, when your doing some weights and you build your muscles, you didnt lose weights but in size, you will notice it right away.

Well muscle weighs more then fat so yeah. Look at it this way right. I recently did a very basic BMI /Body mass index check/see how much of my body is made of fat/ and all it asked for was my height weight and age I knew it would be wrong straight away since you cant take an accurate measurement with just those parameters but I still did it and It told be that I am obease and that Im that over 25%of me is Fat XD absurd its just muscle. So yeah your weight should not be going down if you are goining muscle so when I did a more proper check where they asked me for my neck chest bicep and waist measurements it told me i was 10%.

Yeah Im actually trying to do that myself now as well. Well abput 70%of the battle is really in the kitchen. You have to try and consume less fat but at the same time you can't starve yourself from food then you wont get thin either because then your body will actually try and conserve the fat because it will think that it won't be seeing any food in a long time. Well other then working out in the gym you should check out the pool

Charlen, you might want to consider what you're eating too. Are you eating more calories than what you're burning?
