Christian never smoke

No, not true. Some Christians do smoke. I understand that as Christians, the body is the temple of the holy spirit. So, they shouldn't use anything, like smoking or drinking, which will cause harm to the body. However, there is no right or wrong. Even if a Christian chooses to smoke, it is not a sin, or that he is doing something wrong.

No, that not really true. I did and do know some of the Christian who smoke. They not only smoke they drink too.

I am a methodist christian and I smoke. my pastor also used to smoke untill with gods help she was able to quit so no that is totally untrue.

uh no that is not true i know many Christians that smoke my husband is a Methodist Christian and he smokes nearly 2 packs a day

It might be true if it were also true that Christians never lied! There is no particular scripture condemning smokers. They may even make it seem a matter of "honoring the temple of God" or even self control. But these same people will not condemn over eating will they? It is not the wisest choice, but it is not sin.

Saying that Christians does not smoke is like saying all christians are perfect and that simply is not true. I am a christian and I smoke. We fall into the same bad habits that the rest of the world does.

I have to say that I don't know where your friend got his or her information, but that is in no way, shape or form true. My grandfather was a devote Christian and he smoked, and had the occational drink. I know that Mormins (sorry about the spelling) do not drink or smoke as it is against their religion, perhaps your friend has gotten the religions mixed up. It happens to the best of us.

They do not cuss, drink, or ever have dirty houses either. No I am afraid the statement above and your friend are wrong. Christians have the same bad habbits as everone else.

No, that isn't true. Mormons don't smoke or drink as a rule. There may be some other Christian groups that also frown upon it but I'm not sure which. But overall smoking and modern religion don't have much impact on each other.
