is stars can effect your earning in mylot?

MyLot don't publish the way that they calculate earnings, so while the general feeling is that the star rating does not affect your earnings, that might not actually be the case...

I used to worry a lot about my star on mylot, I watched it go up and down. As a matter of fact I got so obsessive over it when it stayed at a 7 instead of going up that I almost stopped using mylot. In reality it has nothing to do with your earnings just how people rate you. Now I don't care, I'm here to make money and friends and that is whats important.

Your stars are not really supposed to affect your earning. They tell how much your fellow mylotters respect you. You want to have a high number because it demonstrates a high degree of respect from your peers.

I am not really sure. There is alot of speculation about it but only Mylot can answer that.

I don't think there is a relationship between the stars and our earning here. The stars only show your reputation in Mylot. Whereas your earning depends on your posts. I love China

hi fwangaa! i don't stars has anything to do with our earnings here in mylot.my star is at 8 yet my earning here is still quite slow.i think it still depends on the number of posts you make and if those posts are quality posts.when i was still new to this site,i used to have the blue star which is 10.right now that i'm not that active,i'm at 8 and so far,the quality of my earnings are still the same. happy mylotting!
