Will you wear blue for our troops?

I got this in an email tonight and I cried: Blue Fridays. Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing blue every Friday. The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the 'silent majority' We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or overbearing. Many Americans, like you, me and all our friends, simply want to recognize that the vast majority of America supports our troops. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -- and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that .. every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar, will wear something blue. By word of mouth, press, TV -- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of blue much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, coworkers, friends, and family, it will not be long before the USA is covered in BLUE and it will let our troops know the once 'silent' majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on. The first thing a soldier says when asked 'What can we do to make things better for you?' is .'We need your support and your prayers.' Let's get the word out and lead with class and dignity, by example, and wear something blue every Friday. IF YOU AGREE -- THEN SEND THIS ON. WILL YOU WEAR BLUE?

yes why not if the purpose is good for all and evrybody. so nice to be united in one aim and target for the peace and support of the troops.Even through wearing it , evryone recognized and ask , why they wear this ofcourse there is a goal. i would love to follow for the common good of all.

I will support our troops and I will wear blue tomorrow. I will try to remember to do it every Friday, but I may forget. But I will definitely do it tomorrow and I will try to remember to do it every Friday after that. I will have to find some way to remind myself though.

Tomorrow, I'll wear blue. That is beautiful. It's a wonderful, visual way to show our support for those abroad; plus, it's dignified and peaceful in a time when peace on the home front is most important. But in doing so, we should also remember: we too can, should and are every day, making an impact. SUPPORT THE TROOPS

Even befoer I knew about this it was my habit, I guess, to wear this color often now I plan on it. You do not have to support the politics to support the people that are fighting. My heros wear combat boots!!

EXACTLY!!! Thank you so much. My fiancee is a Marine and even before we met, I had the deepest respect for our military. I never knew about the meaning of wearing blue until now but I plan on following it from now on.

I had never heard this before. I wonder if anyone I know will wear blue tomorrow? I don't own a lot of blue, but I will be sure to wear some. I will have to try to remember this every Friday! :-) And most importantly my thoughts will be with the troops.
