This weekend we have what is called the Crawdad Days in Harrison, Arkansas, in another city called Conway we a festival called Toad Suck, and there is a Park there that is also called Toad Suck Park, in another town called Mt. View the have a Spring festival that includes racing lawn mowers and racing out houses. They are all fun. So how about you, and wierdly cute names of festivals in your area??

In my state, the only weird name for celebration for me is 'Cinco De Mayor', except that it is a fun filled celebration full of people.

On the last Saturday and Sunday in February a nearby town holds their annual Swamp Cabbage Festival. The first Saturday in March our town holds it's annual Chalo Nitka Festival. Chalo Nitka is Seminole for “Big Bass. This is really a three day event for us, starting with the schools closing on Friday and all day events for them, a rodeo on Friday and Saturday nights, a parade on Saturday morning and the carnival is in town, too.
